Deer Oaks is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological testing and assessment for adults in long-term care settings. You will deliver diagnostic clarity, cognitive evaluation, and evidence-based recommendations to support treatment planning, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities include conducting testing, individual therapy for older adults, family sessions, and group therapy as needed, while maintaining compliant documentation

Qualifications

• Licensed psychologist with expertise in psychological testing and assessment for older adults.
• Experience conducting cognitive, neuropsychological, mood and personality assessments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct standardized psychological testing and interpret results to support diagnosis and care planning.
• Provide individual psychotherapy tailored to older adults with complex medical or cognitive conditions.
• Facilitate family therapy and caregiver support sessions; lead group therapy as appropriate.
• Collaborate with nursing, social work, physicians, and rehabilitation teams.
• Maintain timely documentation following HIPAA and APA guidelines.
