Job summary

Deer Oaks Behavioral Health — Long-Term Care Clinical Services is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our integrated clinical team. You will work onsite in one or more long-term care facilities within your local community, providing therapy, assessment, care planning, and behavioral health support.

You will collaborate with nursing, social work, physicians, and rehabilitation teams to deliver evidence-based care for older adults and residents with complex medical conditions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid psychology license in the state.
• Experience providing psychological services to older adults or geriatric populations preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in long-term care settings.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and cognitive screenings.
• Provide individual psychotherapy for older adults with complex medical needs.
• Facilitate family therapy and caregiver support sessions.
• Lead or co-lead group therapy sessions when appropriate.
• Provide behavioral management interventions for residents and staff.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Manage caseload independently with ethical clinical judgment.
