Job summary

Deer Oaks is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our integrated clinical team in local long-term care facilities. You will provide therapy, assessments, care planning, and behavioral health support onsite, with a predictable Monday–Friday schedule and strong administrative and clinical support.

Your role includes conducting evaluations, individual therapy, family and group sessions, and developing treatment plans while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted psychology license in state of practice.
• Ability to perform psychological evaluations and therapy.
• Strong documentation and clinical record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including diagnostic assessments and cognitive screenings.
• Provide individual psychotherapy tailored to older adults with complex medical or cognitive conditions.
• Facilitate family therapy and caregiver support sessions.
• Lead or co-lead group therapy sessions when appropriate.
• Provide behavioral management interventions to support residents, facility staff, and families.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Manage caseload independently while exercising clinical judgment.
