Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee, Inc. is seeking an experienced nurse leader to manage human resources, ensure nursing care compliance with standards, and guide patient placement and transfers.

You will coordinate staffing, coach staff, and communicate with patients, families, and departments to promote continuity of care. The role requires Oklahoma RN licensure (or eligibility) and 1–2 years of related experience, with a focus on clinical judgment and policy development.

Qualifications

• Has completed the basic professional curricula of a school of nursing and holds or is entitled to hold a diploma or degree.
• Valid multi-state or Oklahoma RN license. Certification in area of specialty preferred.
• 1–2 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages human resources to maintain compliance with approved nursing standards and budgets.
• Evaluates and adjusts staffing requirements and counsels nursing staff.
• Provides clinical expertise in patient placement and transfers.
• Communicates with staff, patients and families to resolve problems and maintain continuity of care.
• Monitors adherence to time/attendance and evaluates standards of care.
• Supports PI and educational activities and identifies training needs.
• Assists in policy revision and in-service programs.
