Responsibilities

• Adheres to work schedules and completes tasks as instructed.
• Cooperates with staff to meet patient needs and maintain services.
• Maintains warmth, respect and a calm environment for patients.
• Treats patients and families with courtesy and dignity.
• Monitors privacy and patient rights; knocks before entering rooms.
• Develops supportive relationships and contributes to therapeutic environment.
• Assists with personal hygiene, mobility, meals and hydration of patients.
• Documents vital signs, weight, location and behavior as required.
• Participates in group therapy and patient admission/orientation as directed.
• Attends mandatory trainings and meetings; reports safety concerns.
