Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health Specialty Care, Inc. is seeking a per diem Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Center for Healthy Aging at the Danvers outpatient center, with occasional coverage at Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester.

The team includes geriatricians, psychiatrists, LICSWs, and clinical support; experience with aging and dementia is preferred. You will perform geriatric mental health evaluations, manage medications, educate patients and caregivers, and

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing Physician Assistant program.
• Current NP or PA license in Massachusetts.
• Per Diem scheduling availability at Danvers/Gloucester sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct geriatric mental health care including comprehensive psych evaluations and psychopharmacology.
• Diagnose and manage treatment for behavioral health issues and dementia comorbidity.
• Educate patients and caregivers on illness management and supportive care.
• Collaborate with LICSW team and be a team player in a multidisciplinary setting.
