Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Center for Healthy Aging, based mainly at the Lahey Outpatient Center in Danvers with coverage at Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester.

The role focuses on geriatric mental health care, including comprehensive evaluations and medication management, in a multidisciplinary team setting. Must hold an MA NP/PA license and have experience with aging and dementia-related care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Master’s Program in Nursing/Physician Assistant.
• Current NP or PA license in Massachusetts.
• Experience with aging and geriatric care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct geriatric mental health services including comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and psychopharmacology management.
• Diagnose and treat behavioral health issues and dementia in elderly patients.
• Educate patients and caregivers on managing illnesses and supporting care.
• Collaborate with LICSW team for initial behavioral health assessments and ongoing therapy.
