Job summary

Penn State Health is seeking a Geriatric Outpatient Psychiatrist for an outpatient clinic in Harrisburg, PA. The role supports the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health in collaboration with Penn State College of Medicine.

Ideal candidates have an MD/DO, completed residency, BC/BE in Psychiatry, and fellowship/training in geriatric psychiatry. Applicants should be able to obtain PA licensure and a DEA certificate, and show strong teaching and clinical skills.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent degree.
• Completion of an accredited residency program.
• BC/BE in Psychiatry is required with certification within 3 years after hire.
• Fellowship training and/or experience in geriatric psychiatry is preferred.
• Ability to acquire a license to practice in PA and a DEA certificate.
