Job summary

Senior Psych Care is seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist to join our team serving long-term care residents in Beaumont, TX and surrounding areas. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, prescribe psychotropic medications as appropriate, and collaborate with NPs/PAs and therapists to coordinate treatment plans.

Texas license is required; travel to nursing homes and facilities within the region is expected. We offer competitive salary, flexible scheduling, and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Texas license is required.
• BC/BE Psychiatrist with interest in geriatric care.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity of care to long-term care residents with cognitive and mental health needs.
• Perform comprehensive cognitive and mental health evaluations and prescribe appropriate psychotropic medications.
• Collaborate with mid-level providers (Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants) and other therapists.
• Document care in the electronic medical record and participate in behavioral rounds.
