Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England seeks a part-time Registered Nurse to care for elderly patients in a geriatric wellness unit, focusing on mental health. You will perform assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure compassionate, patient-centered care.

Requires RN licensure in Connecticut and a nursing degree; Bachelor’s in Nursing and BLS/CPR are preferred. The role features a 24-hour day shift with every other weekend/holiday exposure.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• Valid RN License in Connecticut.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1+ year Psychiatric or Geriatric experience in an acute inpatient setting preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health assessments and monitor psychiatric symptoms in elderly patients.
• Work closely with physicians, psychiatrists, social workers, and therapists to develop and implement individualized care plans.
