Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a warm, razor-smart Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to perform consultations in nursing homes. You will have full administrative support and clinical mentorship, with the flexibility and autonomy of a private-practice setting.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required.
• Active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License required.
• ANCC Board Certification required.
• Ability to travel within Massachusetts.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities required.
• Strong patient assessment skills required.
• Entrepreneurial, patient-centric work ethic.
• Prolonged sitting and computer use may be required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with nursing home staff, residents, and families.
• Proactively follow up with patients and assess intervention efficacy.
• Educate on best practices in psychiatric care.
• Round at assigned nursing homes and recommend psychiatric medications and treatment.
• Integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, emphasizing non-pharmacological options when possible.
