Job summary

PsychoGeriatricServices (PGS) is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric care to residents across Pine Grove, Pottsville, and Mifflin, PA. You will work autonomously within a supportive clinical and administrative team during standard business hours.

The role focuses on assessments, medication management, staff education, and collaboration with facility leadership to ensure safe, person-centered care. No nights or on-call are required, offering a healthy work-life balance.

Qualifications

• State licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (PA required)
• Active DEA license
• Mon-Fri availability during normal business hours
• Ability to stand for 20 minutes and lift up to 15 pounds

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site psychiatric assessments and medication management
• Coordinate care with facility teams (Administrator, Director of Nursing, Social Services)
• Adhere to state and federal clinical guidelines and PGS protocols

• Maintain clear, timely documentation
