Job summary

Humana’s CenterWell Senior Primary Care seeks a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join as a Variable Staffing Pool Physician on an as-needed basis. This zero-hour, W-2 role supports high-quality outpatient care for adults and seniors, primarily at Fort Worth, TX clinics.

Required: MD/DO with board certification in Family/Internal/Geriatric Medicine, active Texas license, and at least three days/week availability.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited program.
• Active medical license in jurisdiction.
• Board certification in Family/Internal/Geriatric Medicine.
• At least 2 years of geriatric care or value-based care experience.
• Passion for improving patient experiences and outcomes.
• Participation in TB screening program.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care services to adults and geriatrics.
• Maintain accurate medical histories and records.
• Manage moderately to complex medical conditions.
• Refer patients to specialists as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
• Contribute to departmental strategy and quality improvement programs.
• Work onsite in outpatient clinics.
