Job summary

The MedServ Group is seeking a Podiatrist to join our growing team and deliver top-tier care to residents in skilled nursing facilities. You will diagnose, treat, and manage foot and leg conditions with a compassionate approach tailored to the elderly population.

This part-time, 1099 position offers a typical 9:00AM–5:00PM schedule on weekdays with 22–25 patient visits per session and compensation of $135 per hour. Flexible options are available.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine and active state license.
• 2+ years of clinical or hospital experience.
• Expertise in therapeutic and surgical treatments for the lower extremities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with elderly patients.

Responsibilities

• Examine legs and feet to diagnose diseases.
• Treat foot and leg injuries such as fractures, corns, and calluses.
• Refer out foot and ankle surgeries when needed.
• Prescribe joint pain relief meds and foot orthoses to improve mobility.
• Advise patients on foot care and general wellness.
