Job summary

The MedServ Group in New York is seeking a part-time Podiatrist to join our team, delivering high-quality foot and ankle care to elderly residents in skilled nursing facilities. You will diagnose, treat, and advise on foot health, while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

The role offers per-visit compensation (CPT or 35-40% of collections) with typical visit volumes and a flexible schedule. Independent contractor (1099) status is included.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine (DPM) and active state license.
• 2 years plus experience in a clinic or hospital.
• Excellent knowledge of therapeutic and surgical treatments for the lower extremities.

Responsibilities

• Examining patient legs and feet to diagnose diseases.
• Treating foot and leg injuries such as fractures, corn and calluses.
• Referring out foot and ankle surgeries where necessary.
• Prescribing joint pain relief medication and foot orthoses to improve mobility.
• Advising patients on foot care and general wellness practices.
