Job summary

Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in a full-time role with a sign-on bonus. The ideal candidate will be licensed in the state, capable of independent evaluation and treatment, and dedicated to geriatric care within a skilled nursing setting.

The PTA will assist the supervising PT with therapies to improve mobility, relieve pain, and promote wellness for residents, focusing on functional outcomes and patient-centered

Qualifications

• Must hold PTA license in the practicing state.
• Experience in SNF or geriatric settings preferred.
• Ability to evaluate and treat independently under supervision as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility and relieve pain in a skilled nursing facility.
• Promote overall fitness and wellness and support functional goals for residents.
• Contribute to patient-centered rehabilitation plans and progress notes.
