Job summary

Vicar's Landing in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist to provide services that restore function, mobility, and reduce pain. You will develop individualized treatment plans and deliver high-quality patient care.

We require a Florida PT license, APPTA/CAPTE-approved degree, CPR certification, and at least 2 years of geriatric experience. You will collaborate with the care team and promote safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Graduate of APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• Graduate from an accredited program of physical therapy, culminating in a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree.
• Florida physical therapy license required.
• Current CPR certification.
• 2+ years’ experience in the field of physical therapy, geriatric population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather data from patient, family, and records after physician referral and set comprehensive goals.
• Update plan of care based on patient response and discharge changes.
• Document clinical information clearly and accurately with appropriate medical terminology.
• Assess geriatric development needs and tailor information to each patient’s needs.
• Follow ethics, policies, and safety guidelines; maintain confidences and professionalism.
• Balance multiple duties and variable schedules while maintaining quality care.
