Job summary

Methodist Senior Services in Tupelo, Mississippi is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist for either full-time or part-time roles to join our therapy team across Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Independent Living communities.

You will evaluate residents, create individualized plans to improve mobility and quality of life, supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, and collaborate with physicians and families within an interdisciplinary team. Mississippi licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy or Occupational Therapy.
• Current license/certification in the state of Mississippi.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adequate computer skills for documentation.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise and direct Physical Therapist Assistants as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, families and the care team to tailor therapy.
• Provide evidence-based therapy services tailored to each resident's needs.
