Los Arcos del Norte Care Center in El Paso, TX is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our in-house rehab program on a full-time or PRN basis. We offer a stable, in-house therapy team focused on geriatric care and recovery, with opportunities to grow within the Ensign-affiliated network.

Applicants must hold a valid Physical Therapist license and may be new grads. The role involves comprehensive evaluation, treatment planning, patient counseling, and discharge documentation to ensure regulatory

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist license is required.
• Open to Physical Therapists at all experience levels; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and wounds; develop care plans.
• Provide rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment per plan.
• Assist with standing, walking, lifting, transferring, and repositioning patients and equipment as needed.
• Administer procedures in the rehabilitation plan including manual techniques, exercises, modalities, and wound care.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, caregivers and other providers regarding physical disorders.
• Prepare discharge summaries compliant with regulatory and clinical requirements.
