Job summary

Tender Touch Rehab Services seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to provide evidence-based care for seniors in skilled nursing and long-term care settings. You will implement individualized treatment plans with a supervising PT to improve mobility, function, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, functional mobility, and patient/family education, along with accurate EMR documentation in a patient-centered team environment.

Qualifications

• Current PTA license in West Virginia.
• Experience in skilled nursing/long-term care settings preferred.
• Ability to work with supervising PT on individualized plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervising PT with patient treatment plans.
• Lead therapeutic exercises and mobility activities.
• Provide gait and balance training.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and care.
• Document patient progress accurately in EMR.
