Job summary

Tender Touch Rehab Services is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to provide high-quality rehabilitative care for seniors in skilled nursing and long-term care settings.

Working under the direction of a Physical Therapist, you will implement individualized treatment plans, assist with gait and balance training, functional mobility, transfer techniques, and therapeutic exercises to improve strength, safety, and independence.

Qualifications

• Must hold PTA licensure/registration where required.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist with implementing treatment plans.
• Support gait and balance training, transfer techniques, and therapeutic exercises.
• Educate patients and families and document progress in medical records.
