Job summary

Senior LIFE PACE is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant in York County, PA. In this role, you will assess and manage the healthcare of chronically ill geriatric members, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to maximize their quality of life.

This position offers a Monday to Friday daylight schedule with no evenings, weekends, or holidays. Competitive pay and benefits including paid holidays and medical malpractice coverage are provided.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of healthcare assessment for chronically ill geriatric members.
• Experience in developing and adjusting Plans of Care.
• Ability to educate staff and families on care functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform health histories and medical exams for new members.
• Initiate and evaluate medical orders.
• Document care and recommendations for team members.
• Order and interpret lab tests.
• Request consultations from in-house and external providers.
• Educate on care functions for independence at home.
• Complete ongoing assessments for Plan of Care.
