Job summary

Odom Rehab is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide outpatient occupational therapy services at our geriatric rehab program within assisted living facilities in Minnesota. The role is temporary, full-time for approximately 4–5 months and involves working under the OHW umbrella with a focus on clinical excellence.

You will follow individual POCs, document daily treatment, collaborate with the supervising OT, and ensure charges are submitted accurately.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• One year of experience as a COTA (preferred).
• Recent / previous work experience in primary health care setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services.
• Treat patients in accordance with state guidelines.
• Follow Plans of Care and reassess periodically.
• Collaborate with supervising OT on established POC.
• Document treatment daily and bill for services.
• Communicate with physicians and medical staff.
• Help develop and update treatment protocols.
• Participate in staff meetings and Continuing Education.
