Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• One year of experience as a COTA (preferred).
• Recent/previous work experience in primary health care setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services.
• Treat patients in accordance with state guidelines.
• Follow Plans of Care and reassess with OT to keep goals relevant.
• Collaborate with the supervising occupational therapist on the POC.
• Document patient treatment daily per guidelines.
• Submit charges daily for services provided that date.
• Communicate with physician and medical staff regarding patient status.
• Contribute to updating Odom Rehab treatment protocols as needed.
• Participate in OHW staff meetings.
• Track and complete Continuing Education Credits.
