Job summary

Tuscola County Medical Care Community in Caro, MI is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our caring team in a skilled nursing setting. You will evaluate residents, create individualized plans, and work closely with PT, SLP, nursing, and other professionals to support independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan OT license required or in process
• Experience in geriatric/long-term care preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration with care teams

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with varied diagnoses and functional needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize independence and safety
• Collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing and other team members
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance
• Contribute to positive resident outcomes and quality of life
