Job summary

The MedServ Group is seeking a licensed Optometrist to join our rapidly growing practice. You will provide comprehensive eye care to residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities, applying clinical expertise and strong communication to ensure high-quality patient care.

We offer part-time hours with compensation per patient ($40–$45) or 35–40% of collections ($1,050–$1,250 per visit). Schedule typically Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with 7–8 hours of clinical work and related paperwork.

Qualifications

• OD degree and active state license.
• Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics.
• Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams.
• Diagnose and assist in managing ocular disease.
• Prescribe lenses or eye medications as needed.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients.
• Maintain patient records and scheduling.
