Job summary

The MedServ Group is seeking an Optometrist to join our rapidly growing practice serving residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities. You will perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and assist in treating ocular disease, and prescribe lenses or medications as needed.

We offer part-time hours with a Monday–Friday schedule (9:00 AM–5:00 PM typical), and compensation options include $40–$45 per patient or 35–40% of collections.

Qualifications

• OD degree and active state license.
• Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong sense of professionalism and ethics.
• Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive eye exams.
• Diagnosing and assisting in the treatment of ocular disease.
• Prescribing corrective lenses or eye medications as needed.
• Providing pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients.
