Swift Optometry is seeking a compassionate Optometrist to join our team serving residents in long‑term care facilities in St. Johnsbury, VT.

You will perform comprehensive eye exams, dilated evaluations, and diabetic eye assessments while managing ocular disease and providing patient education. Qualifications

• Valid OD license.
• DEA license.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand/walk for 6–8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, comprehensive eye exams for glasses and contacts.
• Conduct dilated exams and diabetic evaluations.
• Treat infections and injuries of the eye.
• Repair and fit eyeglasses as needed.
• Diagnose and manage ocular disease and care for geriatric patients.
