Job summary

NOVO Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work closely with evaluators and provide skilled OT services to geriatric residents. You will implement the patient care plan, monitor progress, and support the goal of increasing independence with daily activities.

Qualifications include an OTA credential, NBCOT COTA certification, and current Oklahoma certification. Applicants must maintain CEUs and have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level entry not required; but must hold OTA credential.
• Must pass NBCOT COTA exam.
• Current OK licensure as OTA.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with evaluating Occupational Therapist to provide skilled OT services.
• Delivers OT interventions to improve independence in ADLs/IADLs.
• Documents daily treatment notes, progress notes, and discharges per Medicare guidelines.
• Ensures goals reflect patient needs and safety within the environment.
• Maintains compliance with professional standards and therapy procedures.
