Elkton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Elkton, MD seeks qualified Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs) to join our caring team. Provide personalized resident care according to individualized plans, assist with ADLs, meals, mobility, and monitor health status.

Qualifications

• Active GNA certification required in Maryland.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care to residents according to each resident's plan of care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with mealtime activities, including feeding residents as needed.
• Assist residents with mobility, including transferring and positioning them safely.
• Monitor residents’ health status and vital signs and report changes to the nurse.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote well‑being.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment for residents.
