Job summary

Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home in Boonsboro, MD is seeking a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (CNA1) for a full-time day shift (6am-2pm). The role offers $21.00 – $25.00 per hour and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

You will support residents on the Skilled Nursing & Assisted Living unit, working under the Director of Nursing and ALU, with non-exempt status. Responsibilities include assisting with daily resident care, documenting and communicating care needs, and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care by checking residents and rooms at least every two hours.
• Assist nurses and supervisory staff in resident care on the units.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors and staff.
