Position Overview

As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant, you will care for seniors and those with an illness, injury or chronic disease in their homes, help with daily activities, assist with ambulation, check vitals, work with a team of home health nurses and aides, and observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or medical equipment.

Qualifications

• GNA certification preferred; CNA certification required
• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant License in Maryland
• GNA certification required
• Great attitude! Will train the right person
• Minimum 1 year of CNA/GNA experience in a medical facility
• Nursing home experience a plus
• CPR and BLS certifications
