Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing.
• A current Texas RN license.
• At least three years of general nursing experience, including supervision and geriatric nursing.

Responsibilities

• Make daily rounds to all nursing units, ensuring staff presence, supplies, and smooth unit operation.
• Visit and follow up with families and elders, review clinical records, document and communicate as appropriate.
• Provide oversight for infection control, ensure staff follow policies, and conduct infection control in-services.
