Job summary

The Davis Community in Wilmington, NC is seeking a full-time Nurse for our Skilled Nursing Facility. The role includes 12-hour shifts from 7a to 7p with every other weekend. A strong emphasis on compassionate care and resident dignity drives our team.

Qualifying candidates hold NC LPN or RN licensure, a relevant nursing education, and ideally geriatric experience. The position offers a stable work schedule and opportunities for growth within a respected community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Current North Carolina licensure as LPN or RN (required).
• Geriatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and record licensed nursing care as prescribed.
• Collect and report resident health data and responses to treatment.
• Coordinate oversight of non-licensed staff in care plans.
• Maintain accurate charting and documentation seconds to care delivery.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and maintain safe, sanitary environments.
• Support quality of care and continuous improvement initiatives.
