Job summary

Clarendale of Algonquin in Algonquin, IL is seeking a hospitality-focused Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and to support our Caregivers in delivering high-quality care.

We offer full-time positions with shifts 7:00am-3:00pm and 3:00pm-11:00pm. Starting pay is $36.00/hr, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, retirement plan with matching, and employee assistance.

Qualifications

• Current valid Illinois nursing license (LPN or RN).
• Compassionate and empathetic patient care.
• Ability to collaborate as part of a care team.
• Experience working with senior citizens preferred.
• Willingness to be available for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care according to physicians' orders and established standards.
• Assist residents with ADLs and promote independence.
• Identify and report changes in residents' medical/behavioral condition.
• Coordinate nursing care with other departments and caregiving teams.
• Provide daily status reports to health services leadership.

We are currently recruiting for a hospitality-focused Nurse to join our team. Our Nurse team provides direct nursing care to our resident senior citizens and helps to oversee the efforts of our Caregivers to ensure that our residents receive high-quality care.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care according to physicians' orders and in compliance with recognized nursing practices, established standards, and administrative policies.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities, and actively promote an independent lifestyle with residents.
• Identify and report changes in residents' medical and behavioral condition. Participate in the development and monitoring of resident care plans according to their assessed needs.
• Ensure preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative services to residents, and help to coordinate nursing care with other departments, agencies, or participants in the residents' caregiving teams.
• Provide daily status reports to the Director of Health Services about community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies to promote communication and collaboration in resident care.

Pay Range:
