Job summary

TEEMA Group seeks a Locum Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive geriatric primary care in an outpatient PACE setting. The role runs daytime hours, Monday–Friday, with credentialing up to 45 days and mileage reimbursement for local candidates.

Board-certified NP with an active NC license (or willing to obtain), plus DEA, CDS, and BLS credentials, and at least 1 year of elderly patient care experience is required.

Qualifications

• Board Certified NP with active licensure.
• Active North Carolina NP license or willingness to obtain.
• 1 year of clinical experience with frail/elderly patients.
• DEA, CDS and BLS certifications required.
• Local candidates commutable to the regional clinic area; mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous primary medical care and chronic disease management for geriatric patients.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans with an interdisciplinary team.
• Evaluate acute changes, order tests, and prescribe medications.
• Collaborate with on-site leadership to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation for all encounters.
