Qualifications
- Licensed in Connecticut as LPC, LMFT, LMHC, or licensed psychologist
- Master's or doctoral degree in mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology
- Strong clinical experience in geriatric mental health
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy to older adults in long-term care and rehabilitation centers
- Conduct psycho-social assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed records
- Participate in staff meetings and interdisciplinary conferences
