Job summary

Vi at Highlands Ranch seeks a Medical Technician to support clinical and technical care within the scope of Med Tech certification. Responsibilities include administering medications, direct resident care, and maintaining medication records.

CPR/AED and First Aid are required; CNA certification is preferred and Med Tech training may be required. Initial onboarding emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: 6 months Med Tech experience preferred.
• Licensure/ Certification: CNA preferred; willing to complete Med Tech Training; CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Administers resident medications as prescribed and documents administration.
• Provides direct patient care (bathing, dressing, feeding) and assists in examinations.
• Maintains medication inventory and follows safety protocols per care policies.
• Communicates with the healthcare team to report changes in resident condition.
• Upholds infection control policies and supports emergency procedures as needed.
