Ivy Living's Oakmont-managed Ivy Park at Sacramento is hiring a Medication Technician to supervise and assist in administering medications to residents in accordance with nursing standards and company policies. You will also provide direct personal care, encourage resident participation in activities, and collaborate with housekeepers and maintenance staff to support resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience assisting with medication in RCFE or similar setting.
• State regulations training/certification may be required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Strong desire to care for the elderly.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, physicians, residents, and families.
• Criminal background check and health screening required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with the resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
