Job summary

AltaMed Health Services in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a float position. The LVN provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, including vital signs, data gathering, medication administration, and treatments.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited LVN program and a current California LVN license; 1 year of LVN experience and geriatric care exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited LVN school.
• Current California LVN license (Vocational Nursing).
• Minimum 1 year LVN experience preferred.
• Experience with geriatric patients preferred.
• BLS certification or higher required; bilingual abilities helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician.
• Perform vital signs, data gathering, medication administration, and basic treatments.
• Assist with patient care/treatments and documentation.
