Job summary

TEEMA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide comprehensive geriatric nursing care in a Phoenix long-term care setting. You will work under the supervision of an RN or physician to deliver care and administer treatments while maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment for residents.

You will oversee and train subordinate staff, observe resident conditions, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Newly Licensed welcome.
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care settings preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional geriatric nursing care, treatment, and services.
• Create and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for residents.
• Oversee and train subordinate staff in resident care.
• Observe and report on resident behavior and physical condition.
• Administer medical treatments and interventions according to care plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations.
• Other duties as assigned
