White Oak/NHC of Charleston is seeking an LPN to join a geriatric nursing team on a full-time basis. The role involves three 12‑hour shifts (6:45 AM–7:15 PM or 6:45 PM–7:15 AM) with weekend options on a 12‑hour shift schedule.

A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available and additional shift pay applies on weekends. The successful candidate will be a graduate of a state‑approved nursing program with an active SC license, experienced in geriatric care, and able to supervise non‑professional staff while

Formación

• Graduate of a state approved school of Nursing with current SC license.
• Experience in geriatric nursing with charge nurse or supervisory experience.
• Good physical and mental health, considerate and compassionate toward the elderly.

Responsabilidades

• Reports to the assigned nursing unit and takes charge when needed.
• Administers and documents medications; completes narcotic counts and audits.
• Maintains residents' condition records and treatment documentation.
• Supervises non‑professional staff to ensure quality nursing care.
• Assists in developing and implementing resident care plans.
• Accepts written and phone orders from physicians; provides direct resident care.
• Notifies physicians and directors of any changes in residents’ conditions.
• Attends scheduled in-service programs and assigns work to aides.
