Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a full-time physical therapist to work in the Blue Ridge, GA area with a 1:1 patient focus in the home. You will deliver hands-on care, develop plan of care, and reexamine patient status regularly to optimize movement and function.

The role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, paid training, mileage reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits. Ideal candidates have CAPTE accreditation, a state PT license, CPR certification, and at least one year of home health experience.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the state you’ll work in.
• CPR certification is required.
• Experience in home health care is preferred (one year).
• If less than one year, regional clinical leaders’ approval and mentoring/residency participation are required.

Responsibilities

• Help patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function.
• Conduct reexaminations every 30 days at minimum and adjust interventions as needed.
• Perform discharge planning and other duties as assigned.
