Job summary

Erickson Senior Living at Lantern Hill in New Providence, New Jersey, seeks a Dietitian to develop and manage nutritional care programs for residents in Continuing Care. You will ensure compliance with regulations and support dining operations.

The role emphasizes resident-focused nutrition planning, staff supervision, and ongoing education to improve quality of life for geriatric residents. Part-time schedule is three days per week.

Qualifications

• Must have Current License with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Experience in health care food service management and clinical nutrition preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical and administrative dietetics including issues in persons with terminal illness.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook; ability to learn more programs.
• Flexible schedule; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience working with the geriatric population.

Responsibilities

• Ensure resident nutritional needs are met and documented to fulfill federal, state, and local regulations.
• Plan and monitor Continuing Care Residents' nutritional programs.
• Assist in supervising the dining room, room service operations, and staff.
• Assist in supervising, evaluating, training, and disciplining dining staff.
• Provide nutritional in-service education to staff and residents.
• Manage and train team members.
