Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Dermatology to fill an opening with a multi-specialty practice located in Bronx, NY. This role focuses on providing dermatologic care to nursing home residents, addressing skin conditions commonly seen in the elderly and chronically ill population.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Nursing, NY NP license, board certification or eligibility, and at least one year of dermatology experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing required.
• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license required; Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Dermatology experience, 1 year minimum (derm-cosmetic not counted).
• Proficient in diagnosing and treating common dermatologic conditions; skin biopsies and minor procedures.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dermatologic evaluations for nursing home residents.
• Diagnose and manage common skin conditions in elderly residents (pressure injuries, infections, eczema, psoriasis).
• Perform minor dermatologic procedures (skin biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions) as needed.
• Prescribe and manage topical and systemic dermatologic medications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Educate nursing home staff and residents on skin care and prevention.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to skin health.
