Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing required.
• Active New York State NP license required; board certification or eligibility.
• Dermatology experience (1+ year) preferred; cosmetic derm not counted.
• Proficient in diagnosing and treating dermatologic conditions; familiar with basic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dermatologic evaluations for nursing home residents; full body skin exams.
• Diagnose and manage common elderly dermatologic conditions (pressure injuries, infections, eczema, psoriasis).
• Perform minor procedures: skin biopsies, cryotherapy, curettage, excisions as appropriate.
• Prescribe and monitor dermatologic medications; ensure safe treatment plans.
