Job summary

Senior Care Therapy is seeking Licensed Professional Counselors to provide in-person psychotherapy to the geriatric population within Skilled Nursing Facilities across NJ, NY, PA, and MD. We handle billing, credentials, and administrative tasks so clinicians can focus on care.

We offer customizable full-time or part-time opportunities, with 32- or 40-hour weeks, and a salary range of $56,000–$83,000 plus an uncapped FFS bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor license in the state applying for.
• Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities.
• Effective oral and written communication in English.
• Basic proficiency with technology, including electronic health records (EHR).
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients in subacute or skilled nursing facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat emotional and behavioral health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and cognitive decline.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient.
• Collaborate with facility staff and families to support patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using the EHR and monitor patient progress.
