Job summary

St. James Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver evidence-based treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

You will document progress and adjust plans per facility policy, collaborating with multiple disciplines to ensure patient-centered care in a long-term/geriatric setting. The role requires a valid COTA license/registration, strong documentation skills, punctuality, and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid COTA license/registration for the state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment under supervision of the OT.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric settings is preferred.
• Well versed with documentation writing and weekly progress notes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Document patient progress and maintain timely progress notes.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Report to work on time and maintain professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.
