Job summary

Therapy Management Corporation (TMC) is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to empower adult/geriatric patients through individualized therapy plans. You will work under an OT to improve independence, mobility, safety and quality of life in a supportive clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation or senior living therapy.
• Passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized occupational therapy services under the direction of an OT to improve functional independence, safety, and quality of life.
• Implement patient-centered treatment plans focused on ADLs, strength, mobility, and adaptive techniques.
• Help patients perform daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, grooming and meal preparation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and nursing staff to support outcomes and continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, monitor progress and adjust plans based on rehab needs.
