Responsibilities include monitoring HMO patients, obtaining prior approvals for services, and attending family meetings. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in geriatrics with subacute experience.
• Strong understanding of regulatory agencies/licensure standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor level of HMO patients on admission and throughout stay.
• Obtain prior approval for all HMO patients for transportation, therapy, etc.
• Track HMO and Medicare days.
• Obtain pre-authorization for special services and equipment.
• Ensure sound clinical and financial outcomes.
• Attend family meetings.
